I will meet you at your hotel in the morning around 8:30 am,then drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall which take about 1.5 hours. Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best-preserved Great Wall Section and less crowded than Badaling Great Wall . It is known for its beautiful surrounding scenery - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year which will let you have a breath-taking view. Woods cover over 90 percent of the total scenic area. Flowers bloom in spring. woods and Grasses green the hillside in summer. in October, leaves turn red or yellow,It make a colorful scenery.

For Lunch, I will recommend local chinese restaurants as you prefer

After lunch ,we drive to Summer Palace. It is one of China's largest imperial garden. Summer Palace was originally a royal garden in early years and a temporary palace in late years in Qing Dynasty, It was built in 1750 and burned down by the British and French allied troops in 1860, rebuilt in 1886. Summer Palace is Composed mainly of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it occupies an area of 742.8 acres. It can be divided into four parts: the Court Area, Front Hill Area, Rear Hill Area and Lake Area. The natural landscape is combined with artificial buildings such as lakes ,hills, pavilions, halls palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value.

In the evening ,you are free to choose local nice restaurants for your dinner ,and see the evening show: Kungfu show ,Acrobatic Show, Peking opera!

Travel Tips

1.you can choose to take cable car or chair lift (Optional) up to the Great Wall and take Toboggan to slide down (Optional) or take cable car down .

2.Normally it takes 2 hours to hiking on the Great Wall . 1.5 hours walking around Summer Palace, so please wear your most comfortable shoes.

3.To hire a boat is a good choice to visit the lake in the Summer Palace. There are different kinds of boats such as pedal boat ,manual boat,dragon boat.
